Savory Rhubarb Contest

  • Starts at 11:00 am and goes until the food runs out.

The Savory Rhubarb Contest shines a spotlight on Lenox restaurant chefs. Their creations demonstrate ways to include nutritious and delicious rhubarb in savory cooking. Rhubarb, with its tart and tangy flavor, makes a great addition to soups, chilis, stews and other creations.

Buy a spoon for $5, and get a taste of all the entries (while supplies last). Then use your spoon to vote for your favorite.

The Best Savory Rhubarb Dish will be announced at the end of the contest.

This year’s contestants were:

The Eagles Trombone Ensemble

  • 11:00 am to 12:00 noon.

A crowd favorite, the Eagles Trombone Ensemble were back again this year.

The Eagles Trombone Ensemble (10 trombones, 1 French horn, 1 tuba and drums), led by trombonist Mike Oft of Lenox Dale, play a variety of crowd-pleasing, popular tunes.

Rhubarb On The Menu

  • All week.

Check out the Rhubarb treats at various Lenox restaurants. Our Lenox chefs will be dreaming up fantastic appetizers, entrées, or desserts (or all three) featuring Rhubarb. And to quench your thirst, bartenders will be mixing up rhubarb cocktails, or stocking up on rhubarb beer (yes, that’s a thing).
